Accessibility

The Centre culturel de la Sarthe and the Département de la Sarthe are committed to ensuring that this website is accessible to all citizens.

What is digital access?

To the inventor of the World Wide Web, Tim Berners-Lee, the power of the web is in its universality. The point of digital access is therefore to
“put the web and its services at the disposal of all, whatever their devices or software, network infrastructure, mother tongue, culture, geographical location, or their physical or mental abilities.”

Digital access guidelines for French authorities (RGAA)

The RGAA guidelines cover access to the internet, television and telephone. The guidelines stem from article 47 of the law of 11 February 2005 (the Digital Bill) which requires equality for the handicapped. The internet part of the bill was approved in October 2009. A new version (3.04) was published on 29 April 2015. (source: Wikipedia)
